As a multipotentialite person, I wanted to find a title that could bring together all the things I do. With a master's degree in computer science and over 15 years of experience gained across Australia, New Caledonia and now Anglet, France, my journey has taken me from interface design to fullstack development, the ownership of complete web products and, more recently, AI-assisted development. My passions, in which I invest a lot of myself, are photography and video.

By analysing all those skills, I found out that they have a something in common, they tell something visually. The title of "Visual narrator" can put them all in the same bag, and to go towards adventure!

    Project Lead

    Adret

    Personal project, from idea to app store release

    I'm launching Adret, an iPhone and Android app that turns a ride, run or hike into a poster from its GPS track (Garmin, Strava, Komoot). I run the project end to end. My work:

    • Mobile app: React Native and Expo, editor designed for a small screen, short tracks rendered directly on the phone, payments through RevenueCat and Maestro E2E tests on iOS and Android
    • Rendering engine: generates SVG posters editable on the fly from GPX tracks, written in TypeScript and shared between the app and the API for identical output everywhere
    • Mapping API: server-side rendering of long tracks (concurrent renders, RAM and disk caching) and extraction of the needed OpenStreetMap data through Overpass (3 weeks of computing on a rented server), stored on S3 to avoid paying for an expensive server all year round
    • Showcase website: Next.js, structure and copy designed for the right personas, art direction (colors, fonts, logo); it also serves as the API for tile downloads and logins
    • Infrastructure: self-hosted VPS, Docker images built on every PR merge and deployed by Coolify, server maintenance with Ansible

    Everything is built in collaboration with Claude Code, step by step and with a lot of guidance: not a single line of code is written by hand.

  2. Experience

    Lead Fullstack Developer

    Air360 — Freelance

    Startup, distributed team across Japan / Vietnam / Europe, 100% remote

    I have been driving the Air360 product since 2021, a behavioral analytics solution that helps understand user journeys and improve websites: first on assignment through NCIT, then directly as a freelancer since September 2024. I own the whole technical chain — tracking script, APIs, database, interfaces, infrastructure and deployment — and I led 2 developers. My work:

    • Dashboard: rebuilt a .NET / jQuery application in Nuxt, then migrated authentication and the database from Auth0 to Supabase (PostgreSQL)
    • Session replay: replay ingestion and storage API (RRWeb, NuxtHub) on Cloudflare (D1, KV, Workflows, Queues), then migrated the platform to a Kubernetes cluster on OVH to keep hosting costs under control
    • Infrastructure: Kubernetes deployments (GCP then OVH), S3 / CloudFront and CI/CD with GitHub Actions
    • Tracking script: rewrote a 3,000+ line JavaScript file in TypeScript, packaged with Vite and covered by WebDriver.io E2E tests
    • On-page analysis: Nuxt interface embedded in the client's website (formerly a Chrome extension), driven by new SDK APIs
    • Help center: multilingual documentation (Nuxt Content), MCP server for the AI chatbot and unified authentication through Supabase OIDC

    I rely daily on Claude Code, MCP servers and skills.

    Fullstack Developer - Front-end Lead

    NCIT, New Caledonia

    IT services company in Nouméa — main assignment: Air360

    New Caledonian IT services company where I spent most of my time on Air360 (detailed above), from the front-end to the APIs and infrastructure. I also built the front-end of mobile and web applications for other clients, including a whale-tracking app in Angular and Ionic, and helped junior profiles grow their interface skills.

    As an avid cyclist and seeing room for improvement in New Caledonia, I launched a platform to bring together everything related to cycling. As a first step, a map with bike paths and anchor points. And more if the opportunity arises.

    I build the platform end to end: Nuxt front-end, Supabase (PostgreSQL) back-end and PostGIS for the mapping data.

    I reached out to associations and ADEME, and everyone was excited. The project started gaining visibility but in the end, each party preferred to stay on their own and the project stalled.

    Back from Australia in early 2020, in the middle of the Covid period, before settling in New Caledonia in early 2021.

    Two short freelance assignments from Australia:

    • Sportang: built the entire front-end (ReactJS, Redux) from scratch, improving the UI and UX of the mockups
    • TravelMustard: took over the existing front-end — restructured the HTML, moved to SASS and reworked the UI/UX

    Graphic Designer - Webdesigner

    C3Challenge | Regional winner with the Cycleo team

    The C3Challenge is the French tour of open innovation facing climate challenges, mobilizing citizens, public and private actors, experts and students.

    During a weekend (like a startup weekend), we created the beginning of an app that encourages people to take their bike for their home-work commute. Among other things, it calculates the number of kilometers traveled and thus provides the effective financial compensation.

    Startup Weekend Nantes | Participation with the Aqapela team

    The goal was to create a startup (a fictional one, about mystery trips for our team) in 54h (free to continue in real life afterwards). We had to do it all! That is, build a mobile app, a website, create a nice logo, the communication, establish a business plan, a budget, etc.

    SNCF needed a new application to manage issues on the railway tracks. After studying the functional specifications, I created the mockup and then the application's interface following the style guide, with ergonomics work to match user expectations.
